When there is no snow at our place, there is a very good chance that there is no snow anywhere (in Austria). ;-)

When are the ski areas in Pitztal open?
Below you can find the opening dates for the winter season 2025/2026 (subject to change).
Actual start and end of the season may vary depending on snow conditions and weather.
The Pitztal region consists out of 3 ski areas:
- Pitztaler Glacier // from 27.09.2025 until 03.05.2026
- Rifflsee // from 14.12.2025 until 13.04.2026
- Hochzeiger // from 05.12.2025 until 11.04.2026
Activities in WinterAre the ski lifts nearby?
The resort is located at the end of the Pitztal valley in Tyrol, Austria. Situated in the direct area of the ski lift and ski slopes. Just a 400 meter walk or glide to the Gletscher Express Mountain Lift.

Of course you can also buy your ski ticket directly at the ticket office of the Gletscher Express (only 300 meters from the resort) or at the Rifflseebahn in Mandarfen.

Are winter tires and/or snow chains necessary?
In Austria, winter tires are mandatory from the 1st of November to the 15th of April. The presence of a set of snow chains is also mandatory.

When is the resort open?
Das Chaletdorf - Pitztal is open during:
- Summer 2025 // from 27.06.2025 till 14.09.2025
- Fall 2025 // from 24.10.2025 till 05.12.2025
- Winter '25-'26 // from 05.12.2025 till 19.04.2026
- Summer 2026 // from 26.06.2026 till 30.08.2026
What is the minimum stay?
A stay with us is possible from a minimum of 4 nights.
Apartments // A short stay of 2 or 3 nights is possible (based on availability), however only bookable max. 2 months before arrival and with a surcharge of 10%.
Chalets // A short stay of 3 nights is possible (based on availability), however only bookable max. 2 months before arrival and with a surcharge of 10%.
Please note that for certain periods you can only book our chalets and apartments in blocks:
- Minimum stay of 7 nights with arrival on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- Minimum stay of 5 nights with daily arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, please contact us immediately to come to a mutual solution.

Terms & Conditions
When can I check-in and check-out?
In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we ask you to take the following times for check-in and check-out into account:
Check-in: between 16.00 - 20.00 hours at the day of arrival
Check-out: between 08.00 - 10.00 hours on the day of departure
Our reception is open for a check-in from 16:00 till 20:00 hours the latest. We always do the check-in in person, so that you can fully enjoy your stay and know how everything works at the resort.
Please note! A check-in is not possible after 20:00 hours, we ask you to take this into account when planning your trip.
When is the reception open?
Reception opening hours
Daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
During the daily opening hours of the reception, our bar is open for drinks.
What is included during my stay?
A stay at one of our chalets or apartments at das Chaletdorf - Pitztal includes:

Can I use the wellness, fitness and pool?
Yes, of course you can relax in our wellness, use the fitness and pool (30 °C).
The swimming pool is open daily from 10am to 9pm. The saunas are open from 4pm to 9pm.
Is smoking allowed?
Our resort, all chalets, apartments, the restaurant and other in- and outdoor areas (including the balconies and terraces) are non-smoking (this also applies to e-cigarettes and possible variants).
For the smokers among our guests, we have a place available at the main entrance of the resort. It is only allowed to smoke there.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on request and subject to availability. Three of our Mountain Chalets are reserved for dogs and their owners. The occupancy per chalet is limited to one dog. Surcharge per dog €20.00 per day (without food).
It is not possible to stay with a dog in the other chalets and in our apartments.
Note: Dogs are not allowed to sleep in the bedrooms or on the sofa. Dogs must not be left unattended in the chalet.
Can I stay at the resort with my child(ren)?
Children are more than welcome!
Please note that our surroundings demand a good physical condition. That is why we recommend a minimum age for children of 7 years. For this reason, our resort doesn’t offer special facilities for young children (babies/toddlers).
Of course we are more than happy to provide a baby cot with mattress and/or a high chair for free. We offer these based on availability and on request. We kindly ask you to take care of the bed linen and blanket yourselves.
Are there special conditions for additional persons and/or children?
For additional persons above the normal occupancy in our apartments or chalets, we charge a fixed surcharge per person per night. There is no difference whether this person is an adult or a child. The total price is shown on our (booking)website after selecting the appropriate number of persons.
When booking directly through our website, for children up to 2 years old, we do not charge this possible surcharge. We will deduct these costs from the final bill. We will, of course, gladly provide you with a cot and/or high chair free of charge. We kindly ask you to provide your own bed linen and blanket(s) for the cot.
For children up to 5 years old, we also -when booking directly via our website- do not charge for any booked breakfast. We will deduct these costs from the final bill.
What are the booking conditions for groups of more than 12 people?
Organising an event, wedding or birthday or accommodation for groups of more than 12 people is only possible on an exclusive basis and/or in the off-season based on availability.
Is there a baby cot, high chair and/or an extra bed available?
Of course we are more than happy to provide a baby cot with mattress and/or a high chair for free. We offer these based on availability and on request. We kindly ask you to take care of the bed linen and blanket yourselves.
An extra bed is not available. The total number and type of beds is described in the description of the type of apartment or chalet.
Chalets & Apartments
What is in the daily breakfast basket?
We deliver the daily breakfast basket around 8 o'clock in the morning at your front door of the chalet or apartment. Just enjoy your breakfast with family and friends in your own chalet or apartment. Finished with breakfast? Put the basket outside your front door and we pick it up. Easy as that!
You can choose between:
Breakfast basket - Pure
This basket contains the basics for breakfast: bread, butter, juice, cheese, cured meats/charcuterie, marmalade, yoghurt and muesli.
Breakfast basket - Xtra
This basket contains all you need for a good start of the day: bread, butter, juice, cheese, cured meats/charcuterie, marmalade, yoghurt, muesli, hazelnut cocoa spread, honey, fruits, eggs, milk, coffee, tea and sugar.
Do you offer a bread delivery service?
Yes, we do! We offer a morning bread delivery service. The bread rolls can be ordered daily (till 18.00 hours) and will be delivered to your chalet or apartment door the next morning by 08.00 hours at the latest.
Do you also offer half board?
We do not offer half board: Flexibility and freedom of choice are important to our concept.
You can book your stay with us on the basis of accommodation or with one of our breakfast baskets that we deliver daily to the front door of your apartment or chalet. All our chalets and apartments have a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, oven, Krups Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster) and more than enough crockery, glasses and cutlery.
If you would like to go out for dinner, we will be happy to give you tips for restaurants nearby.

Is there a coffee machine present?
All our chalets and apartments are equipped with a KRUPS Nespresso Essenza Mini Coffee Machine (suitable capsules i.e. Nespresso, Dallmayr, Illy, StarBucks, etc.) and a French Press Coffee maker.
Tips for the French Press
In our WNDRLX Shop we sell coffee capsules from Dallmayr and ground espresso coffee from Segafredo.
How are the kitchens equipped?
All our chalets and apartments have a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, oven, Krups Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster) and more than enough crockery, glasses and cutlery.
Is there a hairdryer available?
Each bathroom in our apartments and chalets has a own hairdryer.
Do all chalets & apartments have a fireplace?
No, not all of them. All of our chalets and one of our apartments have a cozy fireplace:

Included is a basket of firewood a day. When the basket is empty, put it outside your front door in the morning and we provide you with new firewood.

Nevertheless, it is always possible to enjoy the fireplace in the WNDRLX Bistro during the opening hours.
Do all chalets & apartments have an infrared sauna?
No, a private infrared sauna is available in the following chalets:
- Mountain Chalet | Sauna

- Mountain Chalet Plus Deluxe | Family
- Mountain Chalet XL
- Mountain Chalet Plus XL
Nevertheless, all of our guests can unwind and relax in our wellness area with a Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared sauna in the main building of the resort.
Is it allowed to grill and/or BBQ?
It is not allowed to grill and/or barbecue on the resort for safety reasons by yourselves.
Where can I park my car?
The resort has its own outdoor parking space and a parking garage.
You have one free parking space per chalet/apartment at the resort. This parking space is assigned to you, we will inform you in advance by email.
We have plenty of parking spaces for all our guests near the resort. If you are traveling with several cars, it is of course possible to first unload the luggage from the car at the resort and then park in the parking lot of the Gletscher Express. This is 2 minutes away by car and a 250 meter walk from the resort.
In the low seasons it is usually possible to use an extra parking space at the resort, however this is always based on request and availability.
We kindly ask you not to park in the street, this is not allowed.
How high is the entrance to the parking garage?
The height is 2.30 meters.
Where can I charge my electric car?
At the valley station Gletscherexpress of the Pitztaler Gletscherbahnen (only 300 meters from our resort) there are four charging points for electric cars available to guests. The electricity for the charging station is generated in Austria's highest photovoltaic power plant directly on the glacier.
Can I do my laundry?
Would you like to use a washing machine and/or dryer during your stay? That is possible!
As an extra service there are washing machines and dryers at your disposal for washing your clothes. Just let us know, so we can show you the laundry room and hand over the detergent and a drying rack.
Do you offer a shuttle service to and/or from the airport?
We do not offer a shuttle service ourselves, but many of our guests have had good experiences with Four Seasons Travel: https://www.tirol-taxi.at/en-home
Where can I find a supermarket?
In our WNDRLX Shop we always have a small, but delicious range of (homemade) products available.

Where can I find a restaurant?
Our Bistro is closed in summer and autumn. During the daily opening hours of the reception, the bar and terrace are open for a drink. For example, choose a delicious refreshing drink from our special summer menu.
In winter during our special opening hours (see opening hours) we have a daily changing menu and you always can sit back and relax in our WNDRLX Bistro. Open from Wednesday to Friday from 18.00 to 20.00 hours. A reservation is required, we have 40 places available per evening.
During the daily opening hours of the reception, the bar is open for drinks.
And if you would like to go out for dinner, we will be happy to give you tips for restaurants nearby. A reservation is highly recommended.

What are my payment options?
We prefer payments with bank cards (EC/Maestro/V Pay) and credit cards, we accept VISA & MasterCard. Advance payment of the full sum via bank transfer is possible as well. Please contact us for this payment method, so we can provide you with the relevant details.
Do I have to make a down payment?
We kindly ask you to make a down payment consisting of 30% of the total booking fee, transferred to our bank account within 7 days after your reservation. Once this has been received, your booking will be finalized. The remaining sum will be paid on site at check-out.
Can I make a bank transfer?
Advance payment of the full sum via bank transfer is possible as well. Please contact us for this payment method, so we can provide you with the relevant details.

How much is the local tourist tax in Pitztal?
The local tourist tax is €4.00 per day per person (age 15 years and older) and is not included in our prices. We calculate this afterwards, based on the age of the guests. We kindly ask you to pay this at check-out.
